Think Spring!

I’d kept the ice fishing photo up since January 30th. In that post, I’d commented that it looked like the ice fishing would continue for a while. Well, it’s now March 15th and the ponds are still frozen, although I didn’t see any ice fishermen out today. I can’t recall the last time the ponds were frozen this late in the year. The snow banks continue to melt and are now nearly gone. Today the snow bank at my house finally melted to the point that I recovered the January 22nd newspaper that had gotten buried in it. I also optimistically brought in the remaining 3 of 7 reflector sticks I placed to guide the snowplows into the street. (Who steals these things anyway?) So what does this photo have to do with Mill Creek? Absolutely nothing. I just wanted to put up a new photo that would remind me that Spring will get here……..eventually.
