Mill Creek Landscape Locations Map
January 17, 2010
Duplicated below is the master Mill Creek Landscape Locations map as of October, 2009. I obtained this as 24 x 36 inch hard copy original from the Mill Creek SSA and then created and posted the electronic file here. The original was prepared in October, 2009 by Tim Mescher of the Kane County Development Department, Division of Planning and Special Projects. It’s a little hard to read below, but clicking on the image allows you to zoom in and scroll around to various points in Mill Creek. The map key indicates that blue is bluegrass, green is fescue, gold is wildflowers and pink is perennial flower beds. This map also shows the various alphabetical neighborhood designations. The only neighborhood missing seems to be the W neighborhood, but there may be one or two more. This map should answer a lot of questions regarding what landscaping is maintained by the Mill Creek SSA.

Why isn’t there any landscaping in “O” (Oakmont)? Is this because the development is not yet built out? Any chance you can find out? Thanks….
I’ve submitted your question to the SSA and will post the response here once received.
Here is the SSA’s answer to genevaguys question:
We do maintain a very large area at the entrance off of Prairie Clover Drive, as indicated on the map, and Feece Court. That area benefits from the other services the SSA provides, such as the sidewalk replacement, street lamp maintenance, parkway tree planting program, wildflower maintenance and Sheriff detail. As neighborhoods are completed, the SSA also contracts street cleaning. Last year we completed a new perennial planting bed at the entrance at Keslinger, too.
