A man was stabbed and hospitalized in serious condition on the night of Monday, Aug. 10, after an altercation near 3300 South and 2300 East in Millcreek.
Unified Police Department officers responded to the area at approximately 9:40 p.m., according to Gephardt Daily, which cited UPD. Officers were told two males had gotten into an altercation, and they found the victim still on scene when they arrived.
EMS transported the man to a local hospital in serious condition.
Police have not publicly identified the weapon used in the stabbing. No suspect has been named or described publicly, and UPD has not said whether anyone is in custody.
No arrests have been announced.
The victim's identity has not been released. The intersection of 3300 South and 2300 East falls within the Unified Police Department's Millcreek Precinct territory, led by Precinct Chief Christine Petty-Brown.
