A 16-week exercise class from the Arthritis Foundation begins Monday, Oct. 5, in Millcreek, running through Jan. 25, 2027.

The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program (AFEP) focuses on strength, flexibility, balance and endurance through low-impact movements, according to a Millcreek Journal event listing. The class targets people with arthritis but is open to everyone.

Exercises can be done sitting or standing and modified for different fitness levels. Trained instructors lead range-of-motion and endurance-building activities, relaxation techniques and health education topics, according to the Arthritis Foundation.

The listing does not specify the venue, class schedule, cost or how to register. Other Arthritis Foundation programs offered in Millcreek this year have included Walk with Ease and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention.

Residents can check the Millcreek Journal event listing for location and registration details as they become available.
